After weeks of waiting I am finally able to blog about how Emma has started her own blog! Emma was never the type to want to blog or share things with the interweb because she thought no one really cared about what she had to say, but secretly I always hoped she would jump on the band wagon!
A little background about Emma and her blog. Emma and I lived together for four years (3 in college and 1 when we first moved to NY). During that time Emma credits her apparent weight gain (I didn’t really ever notice) to me and my love for junk food. There were endless times when we would open the mini fridge that was in between our two beds and pull out some delicious cheese cake or Americone Dreams Ice Cream and kind of just veg out. We heavily drank about three times a week which always inevitably ended up with pizza around 3am and then in the morning some egg and cheese on bagels to soak up some of the alcohol left in our bodies.
When we moved to NYC and each had our own bedrooms I noticed Emma starting to jump back onto the healthy living track. She would wake up early to do pilates before her day started and wouldride the subway downtown with me (where I used to work) every Wednesday so she could be the first person in line at Trader Joe’s.
Since then, much to my dismay, Emma has moved all the way out to Colorado where she has really kicked into healthy living mode. She has lost a billion pounds and seems to be generally happier (must be all those endorphins she’s getting!) Emma’s blog is basically a diary of her life on the healthy track— it’s filled with great tips on how she stays in shape as well as great healthy recipe ideas so check it out!
