Help! Moisturizer Needed

nyminute:

Alright, guys, it’s that time of year again, when the heat comes back on and immediately sucks any and all moisture from my skin. Every winter, I deal with horrible, horrible dry skin that can actually hurt when it ends up tearing and splitting (lovely, I know).

In an attempt to prevent this before it happens this year, I want to start routine moisturizing when I get out of the shower. I use Dove with SPF moisturizer on my face daily, but what do you guys find best as a whole body moisturizing cream/lotion? Keep in mind, I’d love it to be : cheap, not oily or greasy, and without a scent (I know, I’m demanding). Any suggestions??

I actually used to have this problem a lot and being that I’m a former beauty publicist that had my pick of luxury brands and mass brands to choose from, I’ve tested quite a few products. My absolute favorite ones were actually mass brands called Freeman Feeling Beautiful Shea Body Butter Olive and Booth’s Honey & Almond Body Butter. These are both cheap and ultra hydrating but they are scented. If you absolutely can’t stand a scented body lotion go for anything unscented by the Vaseline brand. They are very affordable and really do the trick!

**If your skin still cracks after that try rubbing some baby oil on before you shower and your skin will be baby soft!**

  4. mavieenrose answered: it’s not cheap, but Kiehl’s creme de corps is absolutely amazing and totally worth the extra $$
  5. dcwhip answered: DDF. i swear by it. the original bottle is a little pricey (i think 40ish) but it lasts ALL YEAR.
  6. littlelaur answered: try aveeno daily moisturizing, it dries really fast and is awesome - they have a heavier cream version too for really dry spots :)
  7. heyitscat answered: dead sea shea butter is pricy but excellent, cheap non scented = cetaphil lotion WITHOUT A DOUBT the best! i have eczema & LOVE IT
