Last night after being handed tickets to the Kings of Leon concert in Hartford c/o Jay’s boss, Jay and I decided to seize the day and take advantage of our good fortune. I’m not going to lie the two of us really had no idea about KOL’s music besides from the one song that comes on the radio, but nonetheless we decided to check them out. As an added perk this was Jay’s first concert…ever! It was so cute seeing him experience the joys of live music for the first time.

We actually got pretty lucky as far as seats were concerned, and between the great music, warm summer air, energy in the crowd, and the company, the date night was pretty much a success!
