This past weekend some friends and I finally dined at a restaurant I’ve admired from afar for a long time, Centro Vinoteca.
I have always been enamored by the architecture of this restaurant. From the outside it looks very cozy while still maintaining a modern feel. The first floor dining area is filled with glass doors that open in the summer letting in a cool breeze and the contagious west village energy as you dine. Upstairs is a smaller more intimate dining room making it a perfect date spot. Unlike a lot of well known restaurants, the staff was completely friendly without a hint of pretentiousness making the meal that much more enjoyable.
As far as the food went I thought it was good, not amazing, but whatever lacked in the food was definitely made up by the atmosphere and I would absolutely return!
